The Beginning
As a wee little "texan" my parents noticed my legs were slightly curled, the doctors told them they had 2 choices. I would either outgrow it, or they could cast my legs and make them straight. It would be very uncomfortable for me both legs would be in full casts for several months and the chance of it working was only 50/50. The doctor discouraged my parents from doing it so I grew up with an interesting gait and a Q angle that was very far from normal. All of this was made worse by the fact that I had Marfan's syndrome so I was really flexible and my right hip would often time just slip out of joint, I give it a hit and it would go back into the socket. Little did I know that this would all come back to haunt me decades later.
